Specific Responsibilities Would Include:

The Copywriter will clearly communicate with our current and future customers across a variety of consumer touch points, while maintaining brand voice consistency throughout. The Copywriter will be responsible for communicating crisp and clear business driving messages. A successful candidate will have the ability to communicate the RG luxury brand message while leveraging the brand’s unique sense of humor and whimsy.

  • Develop, write and organize product copy information including technical descriptions, romance copy, product naming, etc.
  • Using samples or sketches, write concise and informative on-brand product descriptions for all items sold on the website.
  • Collaborate with production/design/product development and merchandising to make sure all content is accurate and descriptive.
  • Work with marketing to create compelling product-driven and brand voice headlines and brand copy for all marketing vehicles including: social media, direct mail/catalog, web, email, in-store, print collateral, and internal communication pieces, as needed.
  • Take on ad-hoc projects as needed.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have:

  • Minimum of 2-3+ years of product copywriting experience in luxury, preferably in fashion
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team and with a range of creative people
  • Fashion design and merchandising or retail experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices is preferred
  • Must be able to manage high volume of product, and work well under pressure, manage workloads effectively and meet pending deadlines
  • Demonstrated skill in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy and the ability to write in a conversational manner, as well as editorial sensibilities required
  • Highly creative writing skills, imaginative and resourceful

Salary Range: $71,000 - $90,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
